Zine Pedagogy Workshop

Zine Pedagogy Workshop

Are you interested in learning about how to integrate zine-making into your classes? Zine-making provides an opportunity for students to be creative and think outside of traditional class assignments. In this workshop, attendees will learn about the history of zines and the basics of making a one-page zine and half-page zines. We will discuss best practices in designing assignments, rubrics, and grading zines. Learn about zine resources available online and at UConn, and browse examples from UConn Library’s zine collection. Not sure how to apply this in your class? Bring ideas and we can workshop them as we create. This workshop is graciously hosted at the Native American Cultural Program space, SU-103.
